What is scalp & hair treatments?

Dolce Estetica offers clinical scalp and hair treatments for dandruff, build-up, dryness and damage — Anti-Dandruff Treatment with or without a hair wash, Root Revival, Pure Scalp Detox for dandruff with heavy build-up, Intense Repair for frizz and damage, and Hydra Nourish for hydration. Sessions take about 55 minutes. These treat the condition of the scalp and are not a substitute for medical assessment of hair loss.

This is for you if…

  • Persistent dandruff, itching or flaking
  • Product build-up and a scalp that feels heavy or congested
  • Dry, frizzy or chemically damaged hair
  • Anyone whose scalp needs preparing before starting a hair restoration course
  • Anyone wanting a clinical scalp treatment rather than a salon service

We assess first

  • Active scalp infection, open sores or a severe inflamed rash — this needs medical assessment first
  • Anyone expecting a scalp treatment to reverse hair loss — that is assessed and treated separately
  • Recently chemically treated hair, until the scalp has settled

Your consultation screens all of this — honestly.

How it works

1

Scalp assessment

The scalp is examined to establish whether the problem is dandruff, build-up, dryness or something requiring medical treatment.

2

Cleanse and treat

The scalp is cleansed and the appropriate treatment applied — anti-dandruff, detox, repair or hydration depending on what was found.

3

Massage and absorption

Application is worked through the scalp so the actives reach where they are needed rather than sitting on the hair.

4

Home care

You are given a routine to follow, because in-clinic sessions alone do not maintain a healthy scalp between visits.

What results to expect — honestly

Most people notice relief from itching and flaking and a cleaner-feeling scalp after a session, with lasting control coming from a short course plus consistent home care rather than a single visit. These treatments improve scalp condition. They are not a treatment for hair loss, which is a separate medical assessment.

What decides your cost

We do not publish rates, because a figure quoted before a doctor has seen you is guesswork. Here is what actually moves the number — and you get the full, itemised quote at your consultation, before anything begins.

Your questions, answered

How much does a dandruff treatment cost?

It depends on which treatment your scalp actually needs and whether a hair wash is included — a basic anti-dandruff session and a full Pure Scalp Detox are different treatments. Sessions run around 50 to 60 minutes. We confirm the figure when you book or at your visit.

What is the difference between anti-dandruff treatment and scalp detox?

Anti-dandruff treatment targets flaking and itching. Pure Scalp Detox is a deeper cleanse aimed at dandruff combined with product and oil build-up that has left the scalp congested. Which you need is decided after the scalp is examined.

Will a scalp treatment stop my hair fall?

Not on its own. Scalp treatments improve the condition of the scalp. Hair loss has separate causes that need medical assessment, often including blood investigations, and is treated differently.

How often should I have a scalp treatment?

A short course is usually more effective than occasional single sessions, with the interval decided by what was found on examination and how your scalp responds.
