What is medifacials & skin brightening?
Medifacials at Dolce Estetica are clinic-performed treatments that deep-cleanse, hydrate and brighten without downtime. The range runs from Med Facial Premium and Aqua Luxe Signature through Aqua Luxe Deluxe and Aqua Luxe Platinum, with carbon peel and Hollywood peel available at selected clinics. Which one suits you is decided by a doctor rather than picked from a menu. Sessions take 50 to 80 minutes and you can return to work the same day.
This is for you if…
- ✓Dull, tired-looking skin that good products alone have not fixed
- ✓Congestion, blackheads and open pores
- ✓Dry or dehydrated skin needing a clinical hydration boost
- ✓Anyone preparing for a wedding, shoot or event
- ✓First-time patients who want a clinical treatment with no downtime
We assess first
- •Active, inflamed acne — this is assessed and treated differently first
- •Broken skin, active infection or a cold sore in the area
- •Anyone expecting a facial to correct pigmentation, scarring or laxity — those need different treatments
- •Skin that has just had resurfacing, until healing is complete
Your consultation screens all of this — honestly.
How it works
1
Skin assessment
A doctor decides which medifacial suits your skin, rather than you choosing from a menu. Dull skin, congestion and dehydration each point to a different option.
2
Cleanse and prepare
Deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation of the surface, tailored to how sensitive or oily your skin is.
3
Active treatment
Hydration, brightening or clarifying actives delivered clinically. Carbon peel and Hollywood peel are used where suitable and available.
4
Finish and protect
Soothing and sun protection applied. You can wear makeup and return to work the same day.
What results to expect — honestly
A visible freshness, better hydration and a cleaner texture after a single session, typically most noticeable over the first few days. Medifacials work on the surface and on hydration — they do not treat pigmentation, scarring or laxity, and lasting change in skin quality comes from a planned course rather than one appointment. Anyone selling a single facial as a transformation is overselling it.
What decides your cost
We do not publish rates, because a figure quoted before a doctor has seen you is guesswork. Here is what actually moves the number — and you get the full, itemised quote at your consultation, before anything begins.
Which medifacial your skin needs
Signature, Deluxe and Platinum differ in depth and time
Session length
From 50 to 80 minutes depending on the treatment
Single session or a course
A planned course is quoted as one figure
Add-on treatments
Carbon or Hollywood peel where suitable and available
We quote openly and in full — at your consultation, once a doctor has seen what you actually need. We do not publish rates, because a number without an assessment behind it is guesswork, and every quote we give is itemised before anything begins. Ask us on WhatsApp or at your visit and you will get the complete figure with nothing added later. EMI options are available on courses.
Your questions, answered
How much does a medifacial cost?
It depends on which medifacial your skin actually needs — Signature, Deluxe and Platinum differ in depth, actives and session length — and on whether you are having a single session or a planned course. We quote at consultation or on WhatsApp once we know what you are looking for.
What is the difference between a medifacial and a salon facial?
A medifacial is performed in a clinic under medical supervision, using clinical-grade actives and equipment, with the choice of treatment made after a doctor assesses your skin. A salon facial is a cosmetic treatment chosen from a menu.
Is there any downtime after a medifacial?
No. Mild flushing may last a short while afterwards. You can apply makeup and return to work the same day, which is why medifacials are often chosen before events.
How often should I have a medifacial?
That depends on your skin and your goal, and is planned at consultation. A course spaced over weeks produces more lasting change in skin quality than occasional single sessions.
Will a medifacial remove my pigmentation or acne scars?
No. Medifacials improve hydration, cleanliness and surface radiance. Pigmentation and scarring are separate clinical problems needing peels, laser or microneedling, and are assessed separately.
